Join Our Team - Outreach Associates Needed in Select Regions!
Wellness in the Woods is seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to join our team as Outreach Associates. These positions play a vital role in strengthening awareness of peer support and recovery resources across Minnesota.
Outreach Associates connect with community members, providers, and organizations to share information about recovery, mental health, and substance use resources. They represent the mission and values of Wellness in the Woods by promoting inclusion, empowerment, and hope in every interaction.
We are currently accepting applications from individuals who live in the following regions only:
CAMHI: Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright counties
Northwest 8: Kittson, Roseau, Mahnomen, Marshall, Pennington, Red Lake, Polk, and Norman counties
Region 5+: Cass, Wadena, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Todd, and Morrison counties
Southwest 18: Big Stone, Swift, Kandiyohi, Meeker, McLeod, Lac qui Parle, Chippewa, Renville, Yellow Medicine, Lincoln, Lyon, Redwood, Pipestone, Murray, Cottonwood, Rock, Nobles, and Jackson counties
Applicants MUST reside within one of these counties to be considered.
Position Details
Part-time (10-40 hours/month), flexible scheduling
$20/hour plus mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate
Work includes community outreach, tabling events, and collaboration with local partners
Telework with travel throughout your region

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration states that over 19 million Americans suffer from substance abuse issues. Studies have shown that finding employment plays a huge factor in maintaining sobriety as having a regular work schedule builds a routine and structure as well as provides a sense of purpose.
