Outreach Associate - Online Radio Station
Wellness in the Woods is excited to launch an online radio station/podcast platform that amplifies peer voices, recovery stories, and mental health resources across Minnesota. We are seeking a part-time Outreach Associate (100 hours/month) to set up, manage, and grow this project.
This grant-funded role offers $20/hour plus mileage reimbursement and reports directly to our CEO. Candidates must bring both lived experience with a mental health and/or substance use challenge and radio or podcast broadcasting experience.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration states that over 19 million Americans suffer from substance abuse issues. Studies have shown that finding employment plays a huge factor in maintaining sobriety as having a regular work schedule builds a routine and structure as well as provides a sense of purpose.
To help people in recovery gain meaningful employment, we created a resource that provides information on job searching, addressing employment gaps, interview preparation, and the laws that protect them.
